Roanoke, Va. (WFXR) — Thousands of pedestrians are injured or killed in traffic crashes in the United State every year and recently there has been a rise in pedestrian crashes across the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is an indication that traffic safety organizations and agencies will need to remind and educate people on pedestrian safety. Sergeant Spencer Hoopes with the Roanoke County Police Department shares safety precautions, beneficial to any driver.
