Salsa Noke

Living Local

Throughout National Hispanic Heritage Month, Living Local Host, Kianna Price has learned about aspects of the Hispanic culture, including the spicy Latin dance, Salsa. Salsa was developed by Puerto Ricans and Cubans living in New York in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Founder of Salsa Noke, Edgar Ornelas shows Kianna a few moves to get her feet moving on the dance floor.
