LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Medical professionals have not only been our personal heroes throughout this global pandemic but they truly are all-stars as they put themselves on the line every day for the betterment of our community. Recently a local nurse practitioner won the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners Rising Star Award for her work with opioid addiction.
