ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — In a collaboration with the Roanoke Arts Commission, the Grandin Theatre, and Feeding Southwest Virginia Community Solutions Center, Roanoke Public Libraries is working on the “we are art” rap cypher, which will celebrate black history by featuring local rappers. Kianna Price talked with Macklyn Mosley, Community Services Assistant with Roanoke Public Libraries, Ann Artist, and Tay the Truth, both emcees with “We Are Art,” about their upcoming event and how you can participate.
