Keisha Wooten came in from Martinsville Henry Co. SPCA with the adorable mixed breed puppy Maxwell. Maxwell is one of six puppies from that litter up for adoption.
Wooten also came in to discuss the SPCA’s Halloween 5k run, happening on October 28th at Patrick Henry Community College. People are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes for the run. Early bird registration before the 28th will be $40. It will be $45 on the day of the race.
There will also be a kid’s carnival going on with a little shop of horrors which requires a $5 entry fee. Prizes for best costume will be awarded.
