Henry County, Va. (WFXR) — Summer break is a time to play hard and unwind, but it’s also a time to ensure the proper eating habits remain a top priority for students so that they can return to school in the fall, healthy, sharp and ready to learn.
Henry County public schools’ nutrition team recognizes this which is why they are sponsoring the USDA Summer Food Service Program in order to provide nutritional resources for regional children and students. Meals will be provided to all children age 18 and under, without charge. Director of Communications, Monica Hatchett provides further information so that those interested can participate in the offering.
