Roanoke, Va. (WFXR) — Vice President of Inclusive Excellence at the University of Lynchburg, Dr. Robert Canida, and Student Employment Coordinator, Desmond Mosby are Co-coordinators of the University of Lynchburg’s newly chartered NAACP collegiate chapter. This is the first collegiate chapter in the Lynchburg region.

Dr. Canida and Mr. Mosby discuss an event bringing people together tomorrow, May 25th in Lynchburg to honor the life of George Floyd. The remembrance walk is unifying organizations in their shared efforts of providing hope to the community as well as honoring lives lost due to injustice.
