Historic Kentland Farm is a 1,800-acre farm that is owned by Virginia Tech. It is located near the Whitethorne community in the northwestern part of Montgomery County. Kentland Farm is used by multiple Virginia Tech departments and part of the College Farm Operation. Its mission is to support the research, teaching, and extension efforts of the departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
