Virginia Tech’s Relay for Life kicks off

American Cancer Society

The Virginia Tech Relay for Life starts on Friday night at 5 pm.

It is considered the largest collegiate Relay for Life event in the U.S. and is an important fundraiser for The American Cancer Society.

WFXR News has partnered with The American Cancer Society and will be at the Relay on Friday.

Our own Stacey Spivey and John Carroll will be on the Drill Field live during Friday’s 10 pm newscast.  Stop by to see our Pinpoint Weather Tracker and stop by our tent for free tattoos and braclets.
