ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Taubman Museum of Art is opening its doors to visitors starting July 3 after being closed for more than two months because of the coronavirus.
There are several new changes in place for guests and staff to adjust to, including temporary hours of operation during Phase 3.
Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Monday through Thursday
Guests and employees will have to wear face coverings.
There will be several decals and posters spread out on the three floors of the museum to promote social distancing.
Only one party will be allowed to use the elevators at a time, and the museum will also be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Admission to the museum for the general public is free.
