Local Roanoke artists add color and strong message to its city streets

Lifestyle

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Urban Arts Projects came up with the idea to paint one of Roanoke’s most well-traveled streets last weekend.

A large group of people gathered along Campbell Avenue and painted a mural on the road that says, “End Racism Now.”

Every letter was painted by a different artist, who put their own style into their design.
