LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — From the Trackless Train to the Caddock Terry Tree Lighting, the Hill City is gearing up to kick off the holiday season.

On Nov. 19, Buffwalk and Commerce Street will transform into a holiday spectacle full of sparkling lights for its “Bright Nights Festival.” Starting at 4 p.m., visitors can enjoy live performances, food and artisan vendors, pony carrousel, puppy kissing booth, Whoville square, 360 photo booth, Christmas characters, and of course the tree lighting ceremony.

But the holiday spirit doesn’t stop there, for eight weeks, Downtown Lynchburg will be filled with a string of events. Featuring large-scale installations, activities, and more, the festival is set to stay in the Downtown Lynchburg area until Jan. 14.
