INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WFXR)–In an overtime thriller to start the first full day of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, The Virginia Tech Hokies fall to the Florida Gators 75-70. Tech led by as many as 10 points in the first half. Virginia Tech got a 3 pointer from Naheim Alleyne to send the game into overtime. Alleyne led all scorers with 28 points. Virginia Tech’s season ends with a 15-7 record.
