Hokies on the hunt to upset No. 2 Baylor in NCAA second round

SAN ANTONIO, TX (WFXR) — The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team is set to face Baylor in the first-ever meeting between the two schools with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line. The Lady Bears are the defending national champion while the Hokies are coming off a 70-63 win over Marquette on Sunday, marking the program’s first NCAA win since 2006.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on the campus of St. Mary’s in San Antonio.
