HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the second suspect connected to the Oct. 23 murder of Michael Jerome Hairston that occurred on Summit View Drive has been charged.
According to the sheriff, 44-year-old Louis Jerrell Webb of Ferrum has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder, Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felony.
Angelina Spade was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and the Use of a Firearm in the commission of a Felony on Oct. 31.
Spade and Webb were allegedly captured on the Ring doorbell camera arriving at Hairston’s apartment around 7:08 p.m. on the 23rd and then seen running from the apartment several minutes later. Through investigation, it was learned the vehicle seen on the Ring door camera was a 2008 Audi. The car was spotted in Martinsville and then found in Roanoke.
Louis Webb is currently being held in New River Valley Regional Jail without a bond on an unrelated charge.

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff says that with the help of the Roanoke PD, an arrest has been made in the Oct. 23 murder of Michael Jerome Hairston that occurred on Summit View Drive.
19-year-old Angelina Spade from Hardy was taken into custody on Tuesday, Oct. 31, and is currently being held at the Roanoke City Jail without bond. Spade has been charged with First Degree Murder and the Use of a Firearm in the commission of a Felony.
According to police, 46-year-old Michael Jerome Hairston was found deceased inside his apartment. The cause of death has been determined to be death by a gunshot to the head.
Spade and an unidentified man were allegedly captured on a Ring doorbell camera arriving at the apartment around 7:08 p.m. on the 23rd and then seen running from the apartment several minutes later. The vehicle seen on camera was spotted in Martinsville.
The Henry County Sheriff says the investigation is still ongoing. The unidentified male suspect’s identity is known but has currently not been released and no charges have been handed down at this time.
“This is a very active and ongoing investigation. So we will be continuing to work. We have not brought charges against him yet, but we will be looking to in the near future,” said Sheriff Wayne Davis in a press conference.
The relationship between the victim and the two alleged murderers has yet to be determined.
