Safety protocols for Danville voters ahead of elections

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – Hours before polls open for City Council and School Board in Danville, officials are asking voters to adhere to new protocols to safeguard voting at area polls due to the ongoing pandemic.

One of these regulations include staying at least six feet away from others.

Voters will also be asked to respect directions on where where go as well as to wear a face mask, if they have one, and only people voting will be allowed in the precint.

Voters will not be allowed to bring children inside.

Statewide polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
