(WFXR) – Roanoke Fire-EMS as well as Salem Fire & EMS and Botetourt Fire & EMS announce changes to the way they respond to emergency medical calls during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The departments have implemented the use of oxygen tents, known as mini-isolettes, during specific instances where forced oxygen is needed for a patient.
These changes will help protect personnel and enhance patient care.
