ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — WFXR News is bringing back Furry Friends, a segment where we highlight animal care centers in southwest and central Virginia that are trying to find forever homes for their pets.

On Tuesday, June 7, Mary Lou Lewis and Anita Finkle with Roanoke’s Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) stopped by “Good Day Virginia” with ‘Ophelia‘ and ‘Delilah‘, two 17-month-old Basset Hound mixes who have been neutered and need to be kept together since they are bonded sisters.

If you are interested in adopting Ophelia, Delilah, or any of the other adoptable animals at the RCACP, you can fill out an application by clicking here.

You can also visit the RCACP’s website to learn more about the shelter’s adoption process, the foster program, or volunteer opportunities.
