ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Animal shelters across southwest and central Virginia are full of adoptable pets, which is why WFXR News is highlighting these adorable adoptables in our weekly segment called, “Furry Friends.”

On Tuesday, Oct. 10, Julie Rickmond with the Roanoke Valley SPCA brought Hooch to Furry Friends!

Hooch is a one-year-old beagle mix who is active and loves to meet new people. He’s 19 pounds, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Hooch is a lovable little guy who loves to play!
