ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Lokie and Rosie are a beagle mix, smaller sized dogs from the same mama. The Floyd Humane Society rescued them from a desperate situation and a tough life. Lokie and his sister Rosie, are looking for someone who will be patient and love them forever. They are working on their house training manners. They are very bonded to each other.
Loki is a shy and quiet 1-year-old beagle mix. Loki is more like the serious older brother, who loves to sniff around. He is warming up to us and we hope to see his playful side soon. He is showing he loves gentle pets and wags his tail a lot now. Loki will run after you and run after a ball but hasn’t quite picked up fetching yet. Lokie currently weighs 24 lbs but needs to gain several more pounds. He will be neutered the week of July 13th.
Rosie is a sweet and spunky (once she gets to know you!) 1-year-old beagle mix. She came to us very scared and would hide in the corner of the kennel. Rosie is coming out of her shell now and we are seeing her silly and spunky side. Even though she is short, it’s like she has a built-in trampoline and can make impressive jumps and bounces around when she’s playing. She loves to play with our volunteers and her brother Loki. In her spare time, she likes to play, do zoomies, cuddle, and get belly rubs . So far, Rosie is usually the one to initiate playing with her brother Loki. Rosie currently weighs 21 lbs, she will be spayed the week of July 13th.
