FLOYD, Va. (WFXR) – We may still be several months away, but organizers with FloydFest are working overtime in booking talent for this year’s festival, which will feature Ann Wilson, the lead singer of the rock band, Heart.

“FloydFest 22~Heartbeat” will take place between Wednesday, July 27 through Sunday, July 31.

Wilson has been with the band, Heart, from the 70s – off and on to the present day. During her time with the band, they had several chart-leading hits including “Barracuda,” “What About Love,” “Never,” “These Dreams,” and “Alone” – to name a few.

The band has reportedly sold over 35 million records and has songs on the Billboard 200 charts in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2010s.

Wilson is set to perform at Floydfest on Saturday, July 30.
