ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — WFXR Sports Director Jermaine Ferrell caught up with Cave Spring Boys Basketball Head Coach Jacob Gruse. Gruse was recently named the 2019-20 VHSL Boys Basketball coach of the year. He is now eligible for the National Federation of State High School Associations for further honors at the sectional and national levels. He is going into his 7th season as the Knights head coach. Last season, Gruse led Cave Spring to the Class 3 state title.
