The Anne Spencer House & Gardens Museum in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — A painting housed by the Anne Spencer Memorial Foundation in Lynchburg is in need of restoration.

The painting depicts the Harlem Renaissance era, which Lynchburg poet Anne Spencer was a member of.

That painting is one of ten historical artifacts eligible for conservation funds through the Virginia Association of Museums.

The public can vote here for which artifacts will receive funds.

Voting ends January 22 at midnight.
