NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. (WFXR) — Festival of Trees at the Natural Bridge State Park is celebrating its fifth year. Each tree is decorated by a local business or organization, and at the foot of each tree, donations are brought in by the visiting public.
This year, all donations will be given to Project Horizon which is a non-profit started in 1982 that provides free services to victims of domestic violence in the Rockridge County area.
“This is all in good fun for the holidays and it goes to a great cause so, and it happens all December long so, we take up all the donations at the end of the month and then we present them to Project Horizon.”
