PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)—The Salvation Army of Danville is currently accepting donations for those impacted by Sunday’s fire at the NorthPointe Apartments.

The fire destroyed an apartment building at the complex, leaving more than 20 families without a home just before the holidays.

Those who want to donate clothing and household items are asked to drop those off at the Salvation Army’s Thrift Shop off Riverside Dr. Those wanting to make a monetary donation can go to the Salvation Army location on Henry St.

The office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For more information on donating, visit the Danville Salvation Army’s website.
