ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Step back into the ’50s and take a trip down memory lane at the ‘Star City Rockabilly Festival’ on May 27th.
From rockabilly fashion to a vintage car show, the festival will start rockin’ at 1 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Transportation and features food from Lazy Bulldog Food Truck and Bistro, a beer and wine bar, local vendors, a pin-up contest, and more. There will be performances from Sean K. Preston, Gloom Despair N Agony, and Jesse Ray Carter Duo.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children 3 to 8, and museum members are free. The festival will have a kid’s corner open until 6 p.m., and photo ops for guests to capture the moment.
