SALEM, Va. (WFXR) — From magic to acrobats, a group of talent is getting ready to hit the City of Salem.

The Cirque Italia-Gold Unit has announced that it will be coming to the Salem Civic Center. From Nov. 2 – Nov. 5, acts will hit the stage under the big white and blue top tent.

With several performances from aerialists, acrobats, and comedy featuring a water stage, be prepared to be thrilled and hang on to your seat.

Cirque Italia started in 2012 and is an Italian entertainment company that follows a European style. The name presents “Aquatic Spectacular,” and highlights the designed water stage that takes the show up a notch. The stage holds 35,000 gallons of water that also participates in the show letting off drops of water.

For each adult ticket purchased in levels 2 and 3, ticket holders will receive a free child ticket. Organizers say ages 2-12 are considered children and kids under the age of two are free, on your lap.

Tickets for the circus can be purchased online. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on non-show days. On show days the office will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
