MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Many around the region were saddened when Floyd Fest announced its cancellation for this year, but don’t worry, live music and arts are still coming to the area! The Rooster Walk 13 Music & Arts Festival is taking place in Martinsville at Pop’s Farm on May 25-28.
This four-day-long festival will feature over 40 live performances, with genres ranging from bluegrass to folk to country and more. Greensky Bluegrass, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are headlining the weekend. Festival-goers who are planning on attending multiple days are encouraged to purchase camping or RV spaces.
Food vendors, such as Bangin’ Pies, Grateful Glizzys, Monique’s Crepes, Sexi Mexi, Homestead Creamery, and more will be offered throughout the weekend.
