ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — IHOP customers had a chance at winning free pancakes for life on Tuesday at the 15th Annual IHOP National Pancake Day event.
Carilion Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, joined forces with IHOP in hopes of collecting donations that in turn will go towards providing medical treatments to children. The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds for children’s hospitals, medical research, and community awareness of children’s health issues.
Today, Miss Virginia, 2019, Dot Kelly was at the Valley View location, where guests could enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes until 7 p.m. Tuesday night! She explained how you could give back during your visit.
You can make any donation, as small as you want, or as large as you want. We’re selling $5.00 miracle balloons as you can see behind me and what you can do is you can give $5.00 and then you’ll get a $5.00 coupon that you can use when you return to the location.Dot Kelly, Miss Virginia 2019, Children’s Miracle Network Ambassador
