ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Get out and enjoy blue skies and warm weather with the 22nd Annual Blue Ridge Kite Festival on Saturday, April 15th.
At Green Hill Park from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., attendees can watch elaborate kite demonstrations, make crafts, and eat from local food trucks. You are encouraged to bring your own kite, but there will be free kite giveaways while supplies last.
The Roanoke County’s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism department has served the community with springtime fun since 2001. This family and friends event is completely free.
