ROANOKE, Va (WFXR) — Are you an acoustic music lover? Well grab your chair and get ready for rising Country singer/songwriter Jackson Dean to take the stage at Dr Pepper Park on May 31.

On Wednesday gates will open at 6 p.m. rain or shine and will have several local food vendors. Guests can bring their own chairs or rent one for $5 at the park. Downtown Roanoke Inc. is also offering a free shuttle that will be available at the Carilion Riverwalk Garage.

Dean is known for his old-school, gritty, and unique style of Country music. The 22-year-old artist is a skilled artisan from Maryland. His debut song “Don’t Come Lookin” climbed the charts as the highest-charting debut County single since 2015.

The song was featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show and is on the soundtrack of Netflix’s “The Ice Road.” It also landed on Billboards Hot 100 and has over 25 million radio airplay audience impressions.
