ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)— Roanoke Fire-EMS report responding to a residential fire on the 1500 block of Maiden Ln. SW on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
According to the fire department, first responders found the residents evacuating the residence. Upon investigation, Fire-EMS personnel located a small fire in the kitchen and quickly extinguished it.
Roanoke Fire-Ems transported three individuals to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. rescued one cat from the residence. No injuries to Fire-EMS personnel were reported.
Investigators have deemed the fire to be accidental. Damage estimates to the structure and its contents to be approximately $30,000.
