CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Campbell County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division is investigating after human remains were discovered in the woods on Saturday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, deputies responded to an area off of Light House Drive after a citizen located human remains.
The sheriff’s office says the remains were transported to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy and a positive identification. At this point in the investigation, no foul play is suspected.
