ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Anglers are turning up the heat and showing off their fishing skills across the Commonwealth. From trout to blue cats, here are a few features taking the Big Ol’ Fish spotlight this week.
Molly Reed, from Botetourt County, knows every Friday on WFXR News is all about showing off your catches. Molly reeled in a rainbow trout from Crooked Creek.
Stepping into the spotlight, Roanoke Fire Captain, Duane Noell reeled in the bull red drum.
Lastly, like father like son! Ruben Showalter showed a picture of him and his son, Anthony holding two giant blue cats. One weighed 38 lbs and the other weighed 44 lbs!
