BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an accident with a motor vehicle stuck in a creek on Saturday, Oct. 28.
According to the fire department, they arrived on the scene and found one vehicle that had traveled beyond several roadblocks into a construction zone. No occupants were found in or around the vehicle.
Fire and EMS cleared and turned the scene over to the Virginia State Police. There is no word on what charges the driver can face.
