Hazelmarie Anderson joined the WFXR News team as a Multimedia Journalist in April 2020.
Hazelmarie started her career in Terre Haute, Indiana as a multi-media journalist at WTWO. She also hosted a lifestyle entertainment show during her time there.
Hazelmarie comes from Illinois, where she received both a Bachelor’s in Communication and Media and a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from DePaul University.
In her personal time, Hazelmarie enjoys supporting programs focused on youth. Rooting for her home teams, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and looks forward to exploring her new hometown Roanoke.
