ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Pet lovers are invited to Roanoke Valley SPCA’s ‘Best in Show’ weekend-long art event from March 24th through the 26th.
On Friday at 6:00 p.m., over 200 local artists will showcase their original work on the third floor of the Market Building in Charter Hall. The show will continue on Saturday, March 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 26th, from noon to 4:00 p.m.
Animals were the inspiration for art of all different mediums, including paintings, sculpture, pastels, and photography. Half of the proceeds from the art sales will be directly donated to the Roanoke Valley SPCA. All pieces will also be available for viewing and can be purchased online.

Artists have always been at the forefront of our culture in expressing society’s concerns and giving a voice to the most helpless among us, we can think of no better partners in our community to help raise funds for the needy pets in our community.
