With many people still out hunting for that perfect Christmas tree, you may want to know how to keep it looking fresh all season long.
The tree lots were packed with people looking for that special tree.
Lot owners say when you get a tree to make sure you water it at least two times a day for the first few days and then just check it to make sure it has enough water after that.
They say because of the dry summer, the trees this year will be drinking up a lot of water.
“With how dry of a season it’s been, water, water, water. They are struggling just because of how we were this summer,” said Stuart Hickey, Lot manager at Tanglewood.
They also say if the tree is freshly cut and watered properly, it can increase the safety of the tree from catching fire.
